HORSES FOR SALE

Latatiana CBF (Le Primeur/Great Story) 16h
2004 Oldenburg Mare, Chestnut, blaze, one and a half socks. Premium foal GOV

Top ribbons in hand - VADA 2007. Lovely mare with a phenomenal temperament. Well started in Aiken last winter. She is currently competing in Eventing with top three placings in Novice divisions (Waredaca, Fairhill). First qualifying score for YEH championships. She is fancy enough for pure dressage or the hunter divisions. She consistently scores an eight for her walk, 7's overall for gaits. First time under a hunter pro they were very impressed with her natural balance. She got every lead change.

Dam "Great Story" is by the Olympic Dressage medalist "Gaugain De Lully", out of our foundation TB mare "Bit Of Elegance". Great Story was one of the high scoring Oldenburg fillies of her inspection (8.5, Hilltop Farm).

Sire "Le Primeur" was the reserve champion at his Hanoverian stallion licensing and performance test champion the following year with an outstanding score of 147 pts (dressage 142, jumping 143). He consistently passes on his fabulous temperament. He sired the 2007 Five Year Old European Eventing Champion "Lily Pop K" (owned and ridden by international Event rider Linda Algotssen). Other Le Primeur offspring from our farm include "Up to Something" (reg. name Le Roi) who had many championships in his first year competing in the Baby Green Hunter division

Likely Story - Likely Story CBF (Lucky Light/Great Story) 16.1+h
2005 Swedish Warmblood mare, Bay, Blaze, 3 white socks

Winner in hand at both Fairhill and Stone Tavern breed shows in 2006. Top scoring Class 1 filly at her inspection (scores of 9 for type, 8's for head/neck/body, legs, trot, and canter, 7 for walk). Top quality mare suitable for dressage or jumping disciplines. Personable mare that loves to be worked with. Will be easy to start under saddle.

Dam "Great Story" is by the Olympic Dressage medalist "Gaugain De Lully", out of our foundation TB mare Bit Of Elegance. Great Story was one of the high scoring Oldenburg fillies of her inspection (8.5).

Sire "Lucky Light" is a Danish Warmblood with a Holsteiner pedigree. In 1990 he was the European Champion 5 yr old jumper. In 1993 he was the top jumper in Denmark. He has successful imported offspring competing in the Hunters, Equitation, and Jumper divisions (2004 top reg working hunter "Lucky") as well as Dressage (Lucky Tiger - Pan Am Bronze medalist).

HORSES SOLD

Velvet Landing CBF (Landor S/Winter Morning/Ramiros Bube) '05 gray Holst. Filly

Congratulations to Angela and Larissa Barilar on their purchase of Velvet through the PAS Sport Horse auction. Larissa is currently one of the top ranked Junior Training level Event riders in the US. We hope to see them in 09 in the Young Event horse series.

This filly is a top hunter prospect. She is the third filly in a row from Winter Morning. She is sweet, level headed, with lovely ground covering “Hunter” movement. She received good ribbons in hand this spring (winning two classes) and is currently turned out for the winter.

Are You Ready (Alcatraz/Bit Of Elegance) 1998 Bay Oldenburg Gelding

Sold to Kristin Bond of Gigs Harbor, WA. Kristin has done an outstanding job of bringing “Jerry” up the levels. The USEA magazine commented that his stadium round at the 2006 Jersey Fresh CCI** was “foot perfect”. The next two times out, he placed second at the Advanced level at Millbrook NY, and then second again at the Wits End CIC3* in Canada. We send our best wishes for continued success.

Update: Finished the 2006 year as the #1 Oldenburg Event horse in the WBFSH FEI rankings.

Fortune Hunter (Fabriano/Winter Morning). 2001 Bay Oldenburg G.

Sold to Colleen Wingate of Ottsville, PA. In 2006 he took home championships in the Baby Green Hunter divisions with Colleen. In 2007 he started with a nice win in the Schooling Hunters Hack class at the All Seasons Show. Look for them competing in the AA in the spring of 2007.

Fortune Hunter was a lovely prospect right from the beginning. He won the Open Weanling Colt class at DAD with a score of 80%. He was easy to start as a three year old. As a four year old he participated in the 4yr old Young Horse classes, qualifying for Dressage at Devon.

Winter 2008 update: Multiple Championships in the First Year Green Hunter and Green Conformation Divisions. Jacksonville Green Conformation Circuit Champion.

Follow Me (Freestyle/Safe Journey). 2002 Black Oldenburg M.

Sold to Wild Cherry Farm of Malvern, PA. Even though “Mimi” showed lovely potential in the Hunter ring by bringing home championships in her first two Baby Green Hunter divisions under AJ Kunsman, she was sold as a dressage prospect. An 11/06 update is that she recently received excellent scores of 66 and 68 to place first and second in her Training level test 2 and 3. Congratulations!

Le Roi (Le Primeur/Zorn/Granduell) 2003 Chestnut Hanoverian Gelding.

Sold to Janet Liu of NC. Trainer Jennifer Barry reports that he was champion in the Baby Green Hunter division in their very first show (His new show name is "Up to Something"). Recently he was Reserve Best Young Horse in the Hunter Breeding division. They are very excited about him as a top prospect for the Hunter Ring. See periodic updates on their website www.freedomrunllc.com.

UPDATE: Janet and Up to Something have had a string of successes early in the 07 year with Michael Tokaruk riding. At HITS Saugerties 1 Jennifer Alfano was in the irons for a championship in the Baby Green division. He won every class

Update 2008: "Up To Something" is starting to show in the pre Green division.

Sansouci CBF (San Brasil/Great Story) 2003 Bay Hanoverian G.

Sold to Vicki Gershon of PA. Even though he was sold as a Hunter prospect (as a weanling) he has consistently placed in the top ten at DAD as a weanling, yearling and two year old. Vicki reports that he was very easy to start under saddle and they are looking forward to starting him over fences next year.

Fall 2007 update: At his first rate show he was Reserve Champion in the Young Hunter division under Patty Stovel.

I hope that you enjoy the site and welcome any comments.
